The Second Saturday Series are workshops designed to introduce students to new technologies and processes. These workshops are free for all Midland students and open to the public for $29. You must register in advance to attend.
Intro to WordPress
Becca Kroese, Founder of Skwintz
Learn WordPress with us! Becca Kroese will be joining us from Lincoln to introduce WordPress. Becca is the Founder of Skwintz and a mentor for the Midland Code Academy. The workshop will meet from 9:30am to 11:30am at Midland’s Omaha location.

Becca Kroese, Founder of Skwintz in Lincoln Nebraska, will be joining us to present on WordPress. Becca is an experienced WordPress developer and a mentor for the Midland Code Academy program.
Saturday, April 14th
Brock Ellis, General Manager of Sycamore Education in Fremont, will introduce us to this mobile app framework. Ionic is open source and allows developers to build and deploy applications across multiple platforms from one codebase.
Saturday, May 12th
Sebastian Blandon, Co-Founder of Parse Software, will come show us how to build a self-driving RC car using Python. In this workshop you’ll build and program your own self driving vehicle.
